About a year and a half ago, I was super frustrated after wasting my time sending unanswered emails to Spotify playlist curators. I decided to start my own playlist and, fast forward to today, the Birdhouse Spotify playlist has over 30,000 followers.
To start getting traction on Spotify, I launched a strategy to develop a marketable brand, improve my streaming numbers, and grow my own playlist. My own songs have now reached over 3 million streams on Spotify and a large chunk of that has come from my own playlist.
After getting these results, many artists started reaching out to me for feedback, playlist consideration, and music industry advice. With the demand increasing, I decided to start mentoring artists to help them with their own careers. I now provide other artists with the same strategies that I spent years developing so that they can get results in a fraction of the time.
At first, I was mentoring artists in just how to grow on Spotify, but then I started getting lots of questions on everything from how to produce, how to grow on social media, and how to create a marketable brand. I then started to share my own personal strategies in all of those areas so other artists could start to make progress as well.
I now offer both group and one on one coaching sessions to help develop strategies for artists to grow in this often confusing industry. Since launching the Birdhouse at the beginning of 2021, the community has welcomed hundreds of artists and I have directly mentored over a dozen of them to help them get the results they want.
